Businesses across the region step up to become Nugent Heroes this Christmas.
Throughout December, Nugent has been calling upon the support and generosity of kind-hearted scousers and socially minded businesses alike to provide a safe, comfortable and happy Christmas for those that rely on its services.
The children, adults and families that Nugent supports and cares for are amongst the most vulnerable and at-risk in Merseyside – for them, the impact of the coronavirus pandemic will be felt severely this winter and many will feel in crisis.
To help provide some much needed festive cheer and ease suffering, Nugent looked to the business community to provide Christmas hampers filled with food essentials and some festive treats, toys, winter clothing, toiletries and other vital supplies.
In the face of a second national lockdown and ongoing regional restrictions, the sheer level of donations has made this year’s appeal a record breaker! The support Nugent has received has exceeded all expectations – with the equivalent of over £25,000 raised and well over 1000 deserving beneficiaries supported!
