BE WATER AWARE THIS SUMMER

Before you head to the beach, or take part in any activity near water this summer, make sure you are well prepared. Always have the correct safety equipment and a good idea of weather and tidal conditions before you enter the water. Make sure you have a way of calling for help if you get into trouble.

It’s not just when visiting the beach that you need to be aware of water. Swimming in or playing near rivers, canals and lakes may seem like a great idea, particularly on a warm day, but it could all end in tragedy. DON’T take the risk.
