The Spooky Welly Walk is a two mile, Halloween themed walk filled with a number of different trick or treat stations along the route.
This year you can listen to a tale in the Spooky Storytelling tent, dig for a prize at the Yucky Dip station, have a go on the mini fairground rides and create some creepy crafts- just to name a few!
There are two Spooky Welly Walks this year; Sefton Park, Liverpool on Saturday 21st October and Sherdley Park, St Helens on Saturday 28th October.
Every penny that is raised from this event will go towards research into early detection into lung cancer and to supporting lung cancer patients and their families.
Lung cancer is the UK’s biggest cancer killer in both men and women. It kills more people than the next three major cancer killers- breast, colo-rectal and prostrate cancer- combined and yet receives only 6% of research funding.
Last year an incredible 8,700 people donned their wellies and best Halloween costumes helping to raise an astonishing £60,000 for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. This money will help support thousands of people living with lung cancer – patients, carers and their families.
